Recap
#57 vs the Devils. Cause that’s what happens. After being knocked out by the Devils in the 2018 playoffs, J Friend and the Devils were out for revenge. Well, the Bandidos will have to wait for that..at least a few days.
Similar to the first game, the Bandidos were doomed by one bad inning in the field and not enough timely hitting. After a questionable first inning, Friend settled in nicely, allowing zero earned runs through four innings, but the defense was shaky at best behind him.
Yet again, the Bandidos did not go away without a fight. All the way up until the bitter end, the Didos threatened, loading the bases in the final inning.
If the Bandidos can avoid that one atrocious inning per game, they might just be 2-0 right now. Which is a lot more than we can say about how the 2018 season started (it was worse).
DIDOS EN EL RIO
Kris Nardozzi made his NABA pitching debut and looked more than serviceable. Good stuff.
J Friend has now hit 3 batters in 6 innings pitched. S’Fine.
