The Bandidos started their year off exactly as planned. Losing 16-0 to the Bauerstown Grizzlies. Two days later and Bakey Square has the opportunity to right the ship.

Greg Friend to the rescue, as “G” threw an absolute gem to shut out the Grizz. Friend went five innings, while allowing only a few hits and baffling the Grizz throughout.

The Bandidos bats also woke up, as they were able to string good AB’s together and do some damage to the Bauerstown starter.

Didos En El Rio

With Greg Friend looking like a top of the rotation starter, that will take the “Edge” off the depleted 2018 pitching rotation for the Bandidos.

The Bandidos are without the pitching services of Zack Eddinger, Toby Fiala, Graydon Emhoff and Cole Carlino.

The season total for these two teams is now 16-13 in favor of Bauerstahn.
