Greg Friend had mixed reviews through his comeback season in 2017, but he came through at the most important moments in the champsionship run.
Friend manned an outfield spot and made two outstanding pitching appearances in the championship series, locking down the W in the final game of the season.
Friend only appeared in 7 regular season games in 2017, but we expect he will appear in many more in 2018. We think he is primed for comeback player of the year in 2018.
